Book stores, dance schools, laundromats, video stores, supermarkets, Internet cafes, college classes, gyms and dog training classes, to name just a few. Take a day and drive around town and visit these places. Spend some time in each type of place and see what women come in and how they act. By the end of the day you should have a basic idea on what places attract the types of women you like.

Both men and women run the risk of heartache while dating.  Men tend to cover themselves and hide their feelings more than women do, but they can be hurt just as badly.  Don’t ever assume that the other person doesn’t care about you if you develop a relationship after the first date and they don’t seem to.  They, and probably you, have learned to conceal their feelings so as not to be hurt.

When you go on a date, don’t immediately start telling the other person all about you from birth forward.  They don’t care.  No yet at least.  Dating is give and take.  You ask a question, they answer, then it is their turn to ask and you to answer.  It doesn’t have to be one question from you, then one question from them, but one person shouldn’t be the focus of the whole night.

While on a date, you are learning about each other.  Not just from what they tell you, but from the way they act toward you and toward others.  You can learn a lot about someone just by watching what they do, and how they treat people.  You have the chance to decide if this person is someone you want to learn more about, or if they are someone you would rather not have anything to do with.

Dating also doesn’t mean jumping into bed immediately.  Dating is all about getting to know someone.  Do you like them, do you want to get to know them better, is this someone you want to spend time with?  When dating, you find some good ones and some bad ones, but eventually you find the right one.

Now that you have read my little article on dating for dummies, it’s time to put what I have told you in action. Get out and start dating.

When you pick up an older woman, you need to have a little bit of class.  Don’t use those same tired lines you use on the young women.  Older women have heard them all, and are pretty much bored with them.  Try something unusual like, just say hi.  Be yourself, and let her know you are truly interested in her.

Older women that like younger men are called cougars.  You have probably heard that a lot lately.  It has recently come into popularity.  Older women like younger men partly because they aren’t set in their ways like their older counterparts.  Men hit their sexual prime around 18 – 25, women at around age 35 until menopause.  Is it any wonder older women are looking for younger men?

Older women like the youthful exuberance of younger men, but they really like the way that younger men can keep up with them sexually.  As men get older, they can’t be aroused as easily, or as often.  Young men are ready anytime, anywhere. Now if you younger guys could just last longer!

Guys, when you approach an older woman, take your time, be yourself, don’t be an idiot, and if it’s going to work out, you will have sooo much fun and come away from the experience with a great big smile on your face.

Women are usually at ease in a supermarket and don’t have their guard up like they do in a nightclub or other regular pickup spot. You will be amazed at just how easy it is to pick up women in a supermarket.

First things first, you need to go to the supermarket dressed appropriately. If you go during the day or late evening, wear what you normally wear. Jeans and a shirt are fine. If you go just after work, dress in your work clothes. Lots of people stop by the supermarket on their way home from work.

The main point I am trying to get at here is don’t make yourself stand out or look out of place. Always dress to fit the situation, place and time.

Here are a few ideas you can use to break the ice and strike up a conversation with a woman in a supermarket.

If you are in the meat section, ask a woman how to select a steak that will be tender and juicy. Tell her you always seem to end up with really tough ones.

If you are in the fruit section, ask a woman how to tell if a specific fruit is ripe.

If you are in the vegetable section ask a woman what type of onion should be used in a salad.

Don’t forget to introduce yourself. Always say something like; by the way, my name is Bill. If she smiles and tells you her name, you have broken the ice further. What ever you do, don’t forget her name!

Always thank her for her help and let her know that you really appreciated her advice. Then continue with your shopping. But, you want to make sure you find her again a few minutes later.

When you find her the second time, make sure you thank her again and smile at her. You can do one of two things at this point.

You can tell her you want to thank her by taking her out to dinner or coffee.

Or you can wait until the next time you see her in the supermarket and then tell her how much her advice helped you and then ask if you can take her out to dinner or coffee to thank her for her help.

One really nice thing about supermarkets is your competition is almost non-existent. You have a place that is loaded with women and you. You can’t really ask for better odds now can you?

Most of the time the women are bored of watching their clothes go round and round. A little small talk is usually very welcome to break the boredom. Also, most women are easier to approach in this type of location because they do not have to fend off drunks, jerks and idiots like they do at a nightclub or bar.

Laundromats have the advantage of being laid back since most people are being themselves in a no pressure atmosphere where they don’t have to dress to impress and can just relax. It’s much easier to meet new people when they are just being themselves.

Are you ready to learn a great technique on how to pick up women at Laundromats? Well here is a very good technique to try.

If you see a woman coming into a Laundromat on a regular basis and she reads books while there, simply note the title of the book she is reading and then go out and read that book.  The next time you see her, tell her you saw her reading such and such book last time and she looked so interested in it you went out and read it.  Now you have broken the ice and have a common topic to talk about.

I feel I need to give you a little advice here. If she is reading a book that is aimed at the female reader like romance novels or how to find a man in ten easy steps, wait until you see her reading a more appropriate book.

Now that you know a great technique on how to pick up women at Laundromats, do not make the following major mistake.

Do not approach her when she is folding her clothes. If she happens to be folding her panties, bra or lingerie you will most likely make her feel very uncomfortable and possibly embarrass her. The best time to approach her is while she is sitting waiting for her washer or dryer to finish.

While learning how to pick up women at Laundromats, above all, just be you. Also make sure to wear clothes you normally would wear to a Laundromat. Don’t go dressed to impress or you will stick out like a sore thumb and just look out of place. You need to fit in as non-threatening and natural as possible to succeed at picking up women in Laundromats.

First let me make it perfectly clear. You do not need to know how to dance. Just make sure you signup for dance lessons that right for you. If you don’t know how to dance, signup for a beginners dance course. If you are an excellent dancer then signup for a more advanced course.

Lots of women are joining dance schools due to the popularity of all the dancing shows on TV during primetime these days. Dancing has become very cool.

You will do better joining a larger dance school. The more women in the dance class the better.

Now here is the great part. During the course of the lessons you will get to dance with almost all the women in the class. Most dance instructors have you change partners frequently. How is that for an instant ice breaker?

Now all you have to do is be yourself and laugh a little when you or your partner screw up. You can also talk about how easy or hard a dance is. Ask her what her favorite dance style is.

Before class and after class are great times for mingling and getting to know the women in the class. If you are stuck for something to talk about just talk about what dances you are learning or would like to learn.

If you see a woman that is getting the hang of a specific style of dance, go over and compliment her on it and let her know you are having trouble with it. If she does not offer to help you, don’t hesitate to ask her for help.

At the end of class is an excellent time to tell a woman that you really enjoyed dancing with her and ask her if she would like to go get a cup of coffee or a bite to eat.

If you hit it off with a particular woman and the two of you dance well together, ask her out to a dance club. Tell her the two of you need to go out on the town and show off a little.

Now that you know how to pick up women at dance schools, get out the phone book and start checking out your local dance studios.

This is actually fairly easy. Go browse the same movie rack the woman you want to meet is browsing. Watch what videos she picks up to look at.

If she picks up a sequel, casually say to her that you have been thinking about watching the first one, what did you think about it? Was it worth watching?

If she picks up a video you have seen and it was well worth watching, tell her oh that was a great video, its well worth watching. If she starts asking questions about the video by all means strike up a conversation. Just don’t give away the ending.

Now here is one of the best ways to get a conversation going. If she is consistently looking at one type of video for example; action, drama, horror etc. Tell her that you see she likes the same types of videos that you do. Then ask her what videos has she watched recently and what ones did she really enjoy.

This allows you to ask questions about the video or videos she recently watched. The point here is to keep the conversation going.

If the conversation seems to take off, now is your chance to ask her out. Make sure you know what movies are playing at all the nearby theaters. Then tell her you where thinking about going to see such and such movie. This should be a movie of the same type you have been talking to her about. Then ask her if she would like to go see it with you.

If she says yes, get her phone number and let her know when you will call to arrange with her when it would be convenient for her.

Here is another good how to pick up women in video stores technique.

Watch for women heading to enter the video rental store from the parking lot that have a few movies in her hand that she is returning. Try your best to beat her to the door without being obvious. Then hold the door open for her.

Now as she is entering the store, ask her if she is returning anything that was really good. If she says yes, ask her what video and then start asking questions about it.

If she says no, then ask her what videos she is returning so you can stay away from them. Then tell her about some movies you enjoyed of the same type.

The key here is to keep the conversation going long enough to see if the two of you hit it off.

The following are all turn ons to the majority of women.  Please note I said majority and not all. Some women have unusual likes and dislikes. This list is nowhere near complete but should be used as a guideline to help you figure out exactly how to impress women and learn what turns on a woman.

Be honest with women. Honesty turns a woman on and impresses her big time so always be honest when talking to women.  Getting caught even in a small lie can hurt your chances with a woman. So make it easy on yourself and just be honest from the start.

When talking with women make sure you listen to her. Men who truly listen to women are also a very big turn on to women. Actually listening to what she says will impress her. So open up those ears and really start listening.

Can you tell a good joke? Women love a great sense of humor. If you don’t have a good sense of humor then please skip the joke telling. You will most likely just get a puzzled stare from her.

This is a big one! So please read it several times. Men who can be themselves will impress a woman and turn her on. Don’t pretend to be something or someone you are not, this will definitely not impress her or turn her on. Let me repeat this so it sinks in. Be yourself around women. Do not try to be someone you are not.

There is one trick to meeting a woman in a night club or bar though.  You must find areas within the nightclub or bar that are not extremely noisy.  If you have to shout at a woman it’s going to be very hard to get to know her, let alone pick her up and take her home.

If the nightclub or bar has a dance floor, by all means ask a woman to dance.  You do not have to be a great dancer.  After a few drinks, who really cares? On the dance floor you can get closer to a woman and make it much easier to talk to each other.

Going to a nightclub or bar during the week increases your odds at picking up a woman much more than going on weekends.  It’s usually less crowded and much more quiet.

Let me give you some insider information here. Most women when they really want to meet a guy go to low-key bars that are dimly lit and not noisy. They avoid noisy bars. Most women like to talk and get to know a guy. They can’t do that in a noisy bar.

Start making it a habit of going to quiet dark lighted bars during the week and you will increase your chances of meeting women that want to meet you.

If the bar has a pool table, use it to your advantage. Playing a game of pool allows for great conversation and a little competitive play. You don’t have to be good at pool to have fun and meet women.

One warning. Do not act all macho when you play pool. You know what I mean. Hitting the ball so hard like you are trying to put it through the wall. That is a big turnoff for most women. Most women can’t stand show-offs and macho men.

Also don’t give the girl you are playing pool with pointers unless she asks for your help. Women don’t like being made to feel inferior.

Now for the number one pickup line you can use in bars.

Just be yourself and say hi. It’s that simple. If you see a woman you like, just go up and say hi and introduce yourself. If she does not respond well to you then she is most likely not interested in you. If she introduces herself back, looks you in the eyes and smiles she is most likely interested in meeting you. Continue with small talk and see where it goes.

If you see her starting to feel uncomfortable, tell her it was nice meeting her and move to another area of the bar. Come back later and then resume the conversation.

If she does not seem interested in you, go back to your table or area of the bar. Wait a little bit before you approach another woman. Here is why. The woman you just approached may just be shy or you startled her. Look over her way every now and then and see if she is looking back at you. If she is, try to approach her later that night.

If you don’t take action you will be lucky if you ever meet any women. Let me repeat this again as it is that important. You must take action to pick up women.

Another thing you must learn is how to handle rejection. Being rejected by a woman is not the end of the world. Your leg is not going to fall off and you are not going to die. Rejection is just a part of life. Learn to accept it and move on with a smile.

Think of it this way. Each time you are rejected you are one woman closer to picking one up.

If you hear yourself saying something like, I can’t pick up a woman, make sure you understand that is just a bruised ego talking and nothing more. Shake it off and start approaching more women that you would like to meet and get to know.

So the first step you need to make is to face your fears and don’t even worry about being rejected. Make up your mind starting today to take action and get out and start meeting women. You can’t meet women sitting at home all by yourself.

Another thing you need to realize is picking up women is a numbers game. You are going to have to approach a certain number of women that will reject you before you meet one that you hit it off with.

I am sure you have seen all types of books and websites that give you hundreds of pick up lines. Let me tell you right now. Don’t use them! They only make you look like an idiot.

What you need to do is just be yourself. When you approach a woman simply introduce yourself and tell her something like I saw you and just had to meet you. Feel free to compliment her on her hair, dress, shoes or something else as long as you are being honest. All women like to receive sincere compliments.
